DigiDhan Mela – an awareness camp is being organized by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) on 17 and 18th December, 2016 at Major Dhyanchand National Stadium, Delhi.
A neglected disease of the tropical countries, leishmaniases or kala-azar, is caused by a single-celled (protozoan) parasite, Leishmania, that enters the human body when infected sand flies inoculate the parasite into the skin during its blood meal.
