The festival of Janmashtami was celebrated on MyGov with an e-greetings contest which witnessed the participation of hundreds of citizens who submitted creative designs in memory of the beloved deity, Lord Krishna.

To commemorate the country’s Independence Day and remember the great sacrifice made by millions of Indians, MyGov hosted a contest to design e-greetings for the occasion.

MyGov is delighted to announce the selection of the Top 5 teams who will compete to build an app for the Prime Minister’s Office. Based on exhaustive selection criteria, the jury selected the top 20 winning ideas. Information about the winning ideas can be seen here.

With over 1900 promising entries received, the first phase of MyGov, Intel and DST “Innovate for Digital India’ Challenge concluded with some great and innovative solutions coming in from all across India.

MyGov launched the Prime Minister’s Office Mobile App Contest on 4th March, 2015 in collaboration with Google. The contest was widely acclaimed for its unique format and the spirit of crowd sourced innovation that it fostered.
