About Independence Day 2024

As part of Independence Day Celebrations-2024, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov, aims to inspire patriotic fervor among the youth and masses through engaging activities. These include nationwide quiz competitions, reel-making contests, patriotic dress contests, painting contests, and essay contests to encourage creativity and national pride among citizens, inviting them to share their personal expressions of patriotism. These initiatives are designed to instill a deeper appreciation for India's rich heritage, commemorate the sacrifices of freedom fighters, and unite citizens in celebrating the spirit of independence.
