The Prime Minister shared a visionary approach to transform the development journey of our villages in the form of the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana. The initiative calls upon MPs to select a village in their constituency and make it a Model Village by 2016. Furthermore, the number of model villages should increase as time progresses so that in a decade a large number of villages become Model Villages across India.

The rationale behind a landmark idea such as this is clear- India lives in the villages and India will only progress when our villages progress. Development of villages can happen best when everybody walks shoulder to shoulder and contributes towards the comprehensive development of the village. And who better than the local Members of Parliament to drive this change!

This specially created forum on MyGov invites out of the box ideas on how the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana can become the driving force in bringing a qualitative difference in our villages. Lets make the development of our villages a grand mass movement and together create a golden future for rural India.

MP is well equipped wid all requirements dat r lacking in village in his/her constituency.Formost thing is availability of basic amenities in sustainable manner.Connectivity of internet is also imp in terming a village into model village,by whch every villager will connect very effectively with outer world.main charm of village(handicrafts, agriculture, culture)must b promoted in a very sophisticated manner.by dat not only tourism will increase bt also villages will create their own identity.

We want to also eliminate/stop providing the community certificate & asking the same for Schooling/any other Gov. Official purpose. This really/majorly reducing the self confidence still in people's mind & they are thinking some kind of jobs are not good/worth/related for them. As for us , everyone must be treated equally, I kindly request first stop providing the community certificate & this can really help us to avoid that people are divided in various levels in our country.

Sir, All roads except the express high ways should be handed over to the respective villagers along the stretch and asked to maintain them with assitance from govt only for ,design and,,materials like cement, blue metal,Bitumen, road signs, etc and they should be empowered to collect the toll to create huge rural self employment instead of rozgar yojnas which are only drain on the exchequer and income for middlemen.start this as as an experiment within your next hundred days programme.

The quality of education system has degraded severely in past 10 years, if this system is improved at all levels from villages to cities by improving syllabus, teaching patterns, school infrastructure & monitoring mechanism, many things will start falling in place itself. Other than this in my opinion adarsh gram should have one central Government representative in every panchayat to prevent wrong & immoral decisions, proper health centre, kisan vikas centre & water & electricity infrastructure.
