in past years  Chandigarh has witnessed a rapid surge in menace of drrugs. , to solve this smart cities may help us
1) we  can modify and make such drug detection system that may be difficult to anticipate but are effectective ,  plus their installation should be smartly planned with higher concentration of detectors in those areas where dealer are more likely to pass

I am P A Cariappa, " Chandigarh" is listed 23 cities, selected for
fast track round , I am very happy, but there are few things to be improved.
1) Quality Education.
2) Employment generation.
3) Better Transportation facilities.
4) Plastic free zone.
5) Crime free zone.
6) Waste management
7) Rain water harvesting.
8) on line file transfer(to reduce corruption).
9) Public grievance.
