The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) sent a reference dated 22nd August 2019, seeking recommendations of TRAI on reserve prices for 283 cities (260 new + 23 existing), under FM Phase-III Policy.

Accordingly, this Consultation Paper has been prepared to seek the comments/views of the stakeholders on the issues related to estimation of the reserve prices for auction of FM Radio channels.

As part of the consultative process, the Consultation Paper has been uploaded on the TRAI website. Written comments on the consultation paper are invited from the stakeholders by 6th November 2019. Counter-comments, if any, may be submitted by 13th November 2019.

Mass connection with FM radio channels should not be disturbed due price hike as a result of auction.

Pranams sir. Auction of FM will cover all areas especially Hill areas which are having signal problems and power interruptions. Preference may be given to Hill areas while new place selection. Jai hind.

Pranams sir. FM broadcasting should be expanded and improved. FM radios are also available in affordable prices. It'll be more safe for young generation from radiation. Bharat Mata ki jai. Jai hind.

Pranams sir. Auction of FM will definitely improve the quality of broadcasting . Auction rates should be based on the population of the FM station location. Mostly rural people are hearing FM because it can be heard while their work also. So, the auction should be on the basis on the welfare of rural people. Bharat Mata ki jai.jai hind.

FM Radio is a spiritual feeling of the Old age persons and it's a motion for New age persons, We need FM Radio for Everyone Because this thing is joint to the Old age person to New age persons.
