India is among 51 countries to sign the “Rome Declaration” on “Achieving Self-sufficiency in Safe Blood and blood products based voluntary non-remunerated donation”. Blood is an intrinsic requirement for health care and proper functioning of the health system. National AIDS Control Organization under Department of Health and Family Welfare has been primarily responsible for ensuring provision of safe blood for the country since 1992. National Blood Policy 2003 reiterates firmly the government’s commitment to provide safe and adequate quantity of blood, blood components and blood products.

However, in India, a needy patient or his relatives have to run from pillar to post in search of blood and the onus of procurement of blood still lies with the patient and not with the service provider.

Suggestions are invited on how to develop a nationally coordinated and well networked blood transfusion service in the country and reach 100% voluntary blood donation to enable us to meet the global goal of self sufficiency in blood and blood products.

Respected sir, i want to draw attention towards the penalty imposed by passport authority on any mistake done by applicant during applying the form. They imposed very high penalty i.e rs 5000 on every silly mistake.while the passport fees is rs 1500 only but the penalty starts from 5000.it is not necessary that every person can afford it.these mistakes can be corrigible by imposing very less penalty fees i.e rs 100 to 500..so i want your helping hand in this matter for the betterment of people.

All these medical institutions can have rules relaxed to some extent till they start up and they can be given time frame to comply as it starts functioning.which can be monitored.u can ask your health minister how many speciality post graduate seats are there in India...you will be surprised to know that if we go by this slow rate of training it will take not just decade but century to meet the target

Beloved PM ,
Healthy India is not possible till we have enough no of hospitals doctors n nurses. To achieve this we should have extensive network of teaching hospitals.I suggest that there can be medical college at all district places which will not cater to the needy but also churn out professionals. Only and only if the decision is taken on priority will we be able to see the results after five years. Certain rules of mci can be relaxed till we start such institutions and they get time frame...
