How can it be ensured that not only does the arrival of tourists increase but also the Ganga remains clean?
75 percent pollution is caused by human being residing on the banks of the rover.I
Punish people who pollute the river.only treated sewage can enter the river. The Municipalities should practice solid waste management and treat the effluent
Industries should treat their effluent before dumping in the river.Local colleges should be funded to monitor the effluent/river quality.Heavy polluters should be closed. Polluting industries should be closed for 8weeks as punishment.
Please read through the scientific approach to solve this problem in steps in below link -

We lives in spiritual environment and we all know that The Ganga is holy river for us.but now the condition of The Ganga is not good due to industry's canals and most important thing i.e.some superstitious thing.I ensure that The Ganga will remain cleans if we stops all canals which are directly connecting to river and superstitious thinking of human beings by spreading awareness b/w them. And arrival of tourists will be increase if we make water park at the bank of river like Thames river, U.K.
MAKE VISIT TO GANGA MORE DISCIPLINE AND ORGANIZE Like i.e. There is ticket for seeing taj mahal etc
This will also generate revenue that can be use for maintenance the Ghats of Ganga.
This is an image of an boat which is used to clean the river . Boat has 2 arms on both the sides and it has a huge net behind it which is touching the bed of the river . As the boat moves forward , the net behind it collects garbage in it and all the water comes out of the net , so garbage remains with net . Thereafter this garbage is removed by the crane and directly dumped into the waiting truck.
Why not make it mandatory for all TV channels to show atleast few ads on awarness regarding the selected idea of cleaning GANGA\other selected rivers. In this way, the message will spread to Millions of House without additional government expenditures
The simple method to clean ganga is to make a law that no sewage will be dumped into rivers. Their should be penalty on those companies who pollute rivers. If you punish those who pollute rivers ,then rivers will be clean . You dont need to spend crores every year to clean rivers. Just make a hard law.
use of nano technology in purifying the ganga water gives better results than any other method. detecting the wastes adding to the ganga from various places like industries nd cities by using nanotechnology gives a lot better results. not only in the mision of cleaning ganga, implementing this technology in any and every field would definitely gives +ve results. our country is in ground position in using nanotechnology among the developing countries.
To keep the river clean restrictions in the form of fine can be imposed for those people who make the place dirty. Eatables (toffee, chocolate, chips, etc.) must not be allowed to be taken inside the river in the boat. Dustbins must be placed at small distances so that people may throw dirt in them only. Signboards requesting people to keep the river clean could be placed. Local people and authorities must be concerned that tourists do not make the place dirty.
Sir, each day 2.9 billion litres of water from sewage are directly dumped into mother Ganga near by 50 cities. Its major cause for the pollution.Sewage treatment plant is costly to construct and maintain.I on my visit to Pune I have seen one sewage water cleaning canal in Pune done by SERI group in Eco friendly way in less cost.Am sharing the link Have a look.
