A Committee on Net Neutrality has submitted its report to the Department of Telecommunications. Its recommendations broadly contain technical, regulatory and public policy related measures required with respect to Net Neutrality issue.

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is also currently engaged in consultation process on the issue whose recommendations are awaited.

It is emphasized that the views expressed in the report are that of the Committee and not of the Government. Your valuable comments, wide scale consultations, as also the report of the TRAI will help the Government to take appropriate decision on the issue.

1. We DON'T WANT Net Neutrality to be defined by telecom companies.
2. We DON'T WANT telecom companies to control WHAT we access on the Internet and they CAN'T charge us money for accessing certain websites on the Internet.
3. We WANT to be able to access anything, at any time, without having to pay more for it separately.
4. We DON'T WANT licensing for Whatsapp, Viber or any other app we use.
5. Access to ALL content on the internet should be equally free accessible to everyone

We don't want telecoms to define net neutrality for us. The telecom companies shouldn't have the right to decide what I get to access or not. We don't want licensing for the apps we use, like WhatsApp or Viber. We want access to all services at all times.

Stop being puppets to telecom companies and let us access the internet without the telecom companies choosing what we see and what we don't.

dear gov people u alwaz do wht u wnt to do wid our country nd nd our rights plzzz its a request frm indians to you and telecom industries dont take the only place where we can say or chose wht we want do see aur write plz in dis 68th yr of independence dont take away our freedom to chose to see in the Internet..thank u

As a free citizen of India, I want that every site of internet should be accessible by everyone and do not license apps like whatsapp,viber. We dont want telecom companies to define net neutrality. It should a basic right to every citizen of this country and i fully support net neutrality
