National defence University is a good idea not only freshers even experienced/professionals should also be eligible to take the admission in it. A dedicated technical wing should be introduced separately in the university in different wings like Hydro/power/electrical for navy flying/technical/navigation/signals/automobile/civil works etc for airforce navy and army.

#INDU: The draft is by and large good. But I would like to focus on value education. Our university graduates after employment just want to rise academically & financially, no matter how. So many of them indulge in corrupt practices. Prior to May 2014, we have seen many scams even in defence sector. We will be happy if our graduates prosper. But they have a role to play towards the society. Education without moral values is meaningless. Somewhere in their education we have to incorporate ethics.

#INDU: We should not make compromise while selecting the various officers in term of 2 things : Integrity & Efficiency. ISRO is soaring higher & higher because of outstanding leadership since it started in 1969. We can not forget the contributions of Vikram Sarabhai, Satish Dhawan, U.R.Rao & so on. They helped in establishing a great tradition which continues today. Other conditions remaining same, good people make a lot of difference. We can make a good draft,but we should appoint good people.

#INDU: The university will award the following degrees : PhD, M.Phil, M. Tech & M.Sc. in regular / distance education. The evaluation criteria & the officer in charge of evaluation is not defined in the draft. It is better to appoint a controller of evaluation. Sometimes there may be dispute in the eligibility of candidates for admission to various courses.There may be need for an Equivalance Committee or any such mechanism to take care of it.

#INDU: Pro-Chancellor 22.Since Chief of the Defence Staff will be the ex officio pro-chancellor, there will be frequent changes in the post.The tenure should be at least for 2 yrs.
23.President will be the principal academic & executive officer. The designation of President may be changed to Vice-chancellor especially when we are dealing with an university. There is no need of Vice-president ( 24 ), wnen the duties/responsibilities associated with it are not defined.

1. No discrination of any kind- no reservation on basis of caste or creed.
2. Entry on transparent online system.
3. Very close vigil on the Patriatism of the entrants. At any stage a failing means exit.
4. University course syllabus must be of very high contemporary level and faculty selection must be from most reputed international institutions.

Sir,The recent Philobari terror attacks in Doom Dooma,Assam should be condemned.Innocent persons ,Women & children were targeted and killed while they were worshiping by the ULFA terrorist.There is not security in Doom Dooma,Assam.Permanent Army Stations & Camps should be set up in Philobari area.There are frequent terror attacks in the Philobari-Doom Dooma area.Indo Tibetian Border Police ( ITBP) should be deploy in the Philobari area.Its high time to speed up Operation against terrorist.
