Service records of employees can be sent to their digital locker account. Physical maintenance of service books need not be their for Govt.departments. Many govt documents pertains to individuals. such as PF slips , bank statements, social security receipts. Bank TDR, share certificates In fact all important documents can be kept in digital lockers. A USER ID /password storage should also be their so the individuals can keep their different utility id/passwords.
please tell more about this digital locker
Option should be their with the user of digital locker. Whether to share document with some entity or not.
document provider and document user agencies should start using documents available in digital lockers. UPSC, PSCs, SSC, banking and other recruitment boards should start using documents. It may be made mandentory to all public servents and mp mlas to keep documents on digital locker. If Job applications can be made from inside the digital locker it will be very useful for all.
I am unable to upload E documents on Digital Locker. Can anyone please guide.
How can i make an own digital locker
Sir, To avail DIGITAL LOCKER, first and foremost thing is that our mobile number should be linked with our Aadhaar card. Most of the people are not aware of it. Linking / seeding of Mobile number with Aadhar should be made easy, unlike the present procedure, where, one should invariably visit Aadhar enrolment centre. Because of this only, DIGITAL LOCKER is not being used by general public. Pl. simplify the procedure of linking mobile No. with Aadhaar card.
Sir, DIGITAL LOCKER scheme is a very good one. It is suggested that if Mobile number is entered in the website, it should be avalable for member to use its services. Seeding of Mobile No. with Aadhar card is very difficult. Alternatively, some other process is to be implemented.
Digital locker should be integrated with adhaar registration system. A person can bring his/ her documents while registration and the documents could be scanned and stored in the locker.
This process can also be done after registration where a person can go to a adhaar centre with his valid card and document and get it uploaded to his/her locker.
In this way we can reach those people who dont know how to do it via internet/ or those who do not have easy access to internet.
Digital Locker can be made better if the documents are not hacked. A no of security layers must be provided. It should be so sensitive that as soon as any document is mishandled, one should get SMS.
