For delivering various Citizen centric services and furthering the reach of Financial Services including Insurance, the Government of India has set up a Task Force to examine and recommend efficient utilisation and upgradation of the Post Office Network, enabled with Digital/Internet Connectivity to rural Offices and outpost areas enabling reach of different services in rural areas. This Network is also being viewed as a distribution channel to retail various schemes and services of Central Government, State Government and Private Sector Players.

Through this discussion the Department of Posts (Ministry of Communications & Information Technology) seeks suggestions on the following:

•    To provide efficient postal network and points of presence [particularly in rural areas and small towns] to Central Government Ministries / Departments, State Governments [including Local Self Government] and private sector players for delivering various citizen-centric services, scheme, products to the people.
•    To further the role of Post Offices in Financial inclusion, including Insurance products
•    The infrastructure requirements of the Post Offices and the Postal Network
•    To make the Post Offices financially viable

Last date for sending your suggestions is 30th November, 2014.

Dear PM. You are a great leader that India has seen after many decades.

Sir, some railway stations do not have a TT to check whether public are buying Platform tickets.
I think Railway minister should review this as this is a loss of revenue.

I appreciated to Modi Ji that he has launched several schemes to our Formers. I wanted to share an important message with PM (Modi Ji). There is a large area of agriculture LAND is vacant due to No Government Tube well/water facility in Village Kachhavan East (Tikaura), Block - Dobhi, Distt. -JAUNPUR (UP). Requested to Prime Minister (Modi Ji) if concerned Ministry can provide a Government Tube Well for that Area to start forming on VACANT LAND. It would be direct HELP to formers family.

For Clean India: We must have some kind of very small text book related to keep awareness to student that what to DO and whats NOT TO DO and teach every day 5 minutes to each class from Std 1 to 10th. Text book has to be written by Scholar and expert. Example:
1. Do not drop paper/plastic anywhere and just keep and dispose off in garbage can only.
2 ...............

Many online shopping(Like Snap deal, amazon, Flipkart etc..) companies are not able reach/deliver items to rural areas since there is no courier services. Make tie on these companies so that post office deliver items every village in our country. It has largest network. Make use of it. So that number of job can be created easily on post offices. And also make PO more accessible. Like in cities there shall be collection center in main streets instead of located on remote place.

Help in financial planning & investments,
Create awareness about financial institutions to avail loans
ATM centres of nationalised banks can be created
Chartered accountants OR Tax consultants can be registered each such office for guidance to public at large
