The Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance invites suggestions from citizens every year, to make the Budget-making process participative and inclusive. ...
From my point of view increase tax on tobacoo and tobacco products so that its consumption may decrease.
As a responsible citizen of the Union of India, I have the following ideas/suggestions for the Union Budget 2022-23 :-
1. Defence budget should be increased. We don't want substandard kinds of stuff which crashes often.
2. Make In India is a good initiative. But please keep it away from Defence, for the time being, we have not reached the highest international standard. Since a soldier/airman/seaman who is operating that equipment/weapon should have trust in it that it will not defy him in the face of the enemy.
3. Non-Financial Functional up-gradation for Armed Forces.
4. Cadre review for armed forces.
5. Do away with Long term Capital gain tax or at least reduce it.
6. One tax regime. Let there be New Tax Regime with the benefits of Old Tax Regime.
7. Phased out eqpts/wpns should be swiftly procured and there should be a minimum delay in the procurement and
8. NO INCOME TAX FOR DEFENCE FORCES. Hardship allowances should be in corresponding to the Civilian Couterpart.
Group medical insurance for the PPF subscribers be introduces to support senior citizens. Today most of the health insurance are provided by employers and ends with retirement. The amount of cover can be linked to the amount accumulated in PPF ujpto maturity date on slab basis.
The development of senior citizen residential projec ts in semiurban areas be encourged on rfental housing basis. The senior citizens who moves into these developments & sells their existing self occupied residential property in urban areas may be given the incentive equivalent to ( 50% of gthe registration charges ( including stamp papers cost)) earned by sovernment from sale of such properties. This will help in decongestion of the citiies and bettler living conditions for sernior citizens.
Some of the sector to be identified and hand over to the big corporate in India towards the nation building infrastructure initiatives. Push from GOI to ensure that the big corporate contribute towards the nation building as mandatory not as philanthropy or as under CSR initiative. In this budget, requesting to give focus on that area.
Sincerely

The PPF scheem be modified to convert into a monthly annunity payment after maturity as an option in addition to total withdrawl, It will give an option of better interest to senior citizens. This will also help in more collection under the scheem,
Please remove penalty as a late fee during itr file after dur date for those who has to file nil itr..if I do not need to pay anything, why should I pay for late fee...I can file it by any date..pls also return late fees for this year also and my humble request to consider my suggestion.
Today India is progressing very well in its infrastructure.Lots of bridges roads were developing very fastly. Inorder to make it more attractive give a chance for the artists so they can make our bridges and roads more beautiful by painting beautiful pictures. It will be so attractive for the public and a boost for the tourism.Implement a plan for the beautification of national highways. Thus our country will have world's most beautiful national highways.Giving attractive led lights at night will also enhance the Beauty .Making vertical gardens at the pillars of bridges will be a great step for the eco friendly development. We may see these things in some of the places ,but it's not enough. It should implement in every part of our country.
Implement a plan such that educational institutions of our country should adopt one public place for a particular period and its maintenance, conservation, all such activities should be under their attention.Public places like public ponds, particular part of river, public roads or any other public tourist spots. It will aware the students about the need of conservation of such public places. So through this our unknown public ponds and other waterbodies also other unknown public places will maintened and conserved. It will boost swacch bharat mission also.. And students will become so dedicated to the public as it will make them as a Extra curricular activity in their academic period.Ranking and giving complements can be done from the government side .Thus it also pave the way for the faster development in rural areas also.
