Our PM has raised the issue of use of data for nation building.
But what is the credibility of data available?
How can data change on its own in any data base is also a mystry to me. I made nominee in my bank account but after some years came to know that there is no nomination in my account. So, if nomination can be removed, someone can be inserted as nominee without my knowledge at the back end. These incidents are worrisome.
Clever rich people having big houses and business are enjoying benefits of BPL cards. They are also taking away the benefits of other government schemes meant for poor people. On the other hand, poor people are denied benefits because they are not in BPL list.
Incorrect property data generates court cases.
Clueless people keep running from pillar to post to get it corrected.
Many living persons are declared dead in records and dead persons are coming to vote.
So, it is important that data is collected accurately.

It is expected that policy would be followed in letters and spirit.
Policy is not legal document. So it may be followed or may not be followed as per data owners convenience.
How the data would be protected from misuse. Ultimately public has to suffer. There would be no one to listen at the end.

1. Objectionable programs are being shown on Netflix, Amazon, Hotstar, Zee5 & other OTT platforms. They need to be regulated like the print and TV broadcasting. Laws need to be enacted & implemented at the earliest.
2. Doordarshan should acquire LIVE broadcasting rights of all major sporting events on all platforms including private DTH & cables in addition to FREEDISH.
3. A lot of frauds are happening in digital area. Can we do something to prevent?
4. All Indians BSNL 4G to be launched on 15th August and it must perform like Jio 4G and become the operator of choice. BSNL stores need to be opened across India for sales & service.
5. DD FREEDISH must be extensively advertised on all mediums so that it's reach increases inside homes.
6. When will DD INTERNATIONAL be launched as a 24X7 English news channel? We need to be better & more accurate than the BBC.
7. Govt should start the 'GREEN INITIATIVE' to plant perennial saplings to increase greenery
