The world is changing in significant ways, and India's youth are poised to make the most out of it. The Youth are action-oriented, having the ability to think creatively and influences positive change across society. Youth are at the fore-front in using technology in all spheres and serves as a critical component in the larger vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Hence, there is a need for introducing new policy which can suggest appropriate policy interventions taking into account the impact of digital technology on education, work & employment, how the society will experience the fast paced changes and how full or needful engagement of the youth will create a responsible society, very well led and placed on the track of process & development.

Accordingly, the Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Government of India has drafted the National Youth Policy 2023-32(NYP 2023-32) with the vision to synergize the hopes and aspirations of India's youth to enable harmonious growth of society; to harness the energies of youth more effectively towards inclusive economic growth & responsible governance; and to build an enabling environment where youth can come together, persevere, and work relentlessly with their utmost strength towards the making of a new India.

In order to ensure the participation of the stakeholders in policy making process, the Department of Youth Affairs seeks comments/views/suggestions on the draft NYP 2023-32 from all stakeholders.

Please refer to the policy document: Draft National Youth Policy (PDF 669KB)

Respected Sir/Madam,

Youth of India (mostly boys) is ill disciplined. National Cadet Corps, Assistance of Army Veterans recommended.

Respect for Other Sex is a major problem amongst boys. Gender equality and respect for Other Sex needs emphasis as a family, society and nation.

Sex Education is important. Proper education will bring better understanding between all sexes and result in mutual respect.

Use of Abuses in college campuses, stand up comedy shows and many such Youth oriented institutions/events is rampant. Abuses mostly include Women’s private parts and spoken in most foul ways, completely disrespectful of the passage we got to come to this beautiful world.

as part of the national education policy 2020 I would suggest the will you add the more regulations while conducting the examinations there are more malpractices that are happening in the country especially in the undergraduate examinations so here are the steps that I would like u to suggest regarding this

prefering the objective based exam rather than writen exam so that the candidate ability of the subject can be tested

only one question paper is given to a one candidate and that question paper should not be repeated to the next Candidate

In some countries, university rankings are not given preference when selecting people for jobs. In India, lives are made on the university one gets in to. These universities require a lot of hard work, but follow a certain thinking pattern which is not universal and not completely helpful after university. Things like financial, health and emotional issues as well as a large amount of luck can impact one’s entry to top universities. The quality of education across universities overall must be approved, and fake universities closed out. Emphasis should be placed on hiring people with the right skills and experience, over a rote based university degree. Things like financial, health and emotional issues as well as a large amount of luck can impact one’s entry to top universities. Otherwise, students may end in financial or emotional distress for their whole lives.

To avoid students spending money in fake universities or unauthorised universities, all educational institutions must be registered (accredited) by a national body. They must abide by at least minimum standards in terms of quality of education and other things, and go through an inspection to be registered. They must be randomly inspected without being formally informed to ensure they continue to maintain their quality. Students should be able to check if an institution is registered or not on an official website, with address and university website mentioned on the national body portal.

Every citizen in india need a term insurance of minimum 50 lakhs. And it should be Mandatory for the father or mother in a family... Because, in their absence, to attain an stability to live in our country, for better education or marriage in future the children can use this money...

So govt need to push every citizen to take a termplan compulsory....

For this purpose we can use LIC or any other pvt insurance firm..... Who quote minimum amount as premium and govt need to assure maximum settilment ratio too( also need to exclude people who have criminal track records )

This will empower widows in our society .and we can decrease the chances of sexually abusing them or doing prostitution to survive . Also with the support of MSME using this money they can start a small scale bussiness. Unit. And stand alone with pride.
