UPSC lateral recruitment is an excellent idea. It is now important to step-up from old school civil qualified but only graduates leading in the filed of policy building and the administration. India can upgrade this system by opening gates for foreign qualified, globally recognized expertise with special emphasis on candidates with PHD and Post doctoral degrees from abroad. This will bring not only the cutting-edge advancement in technology building but also higher improved administration, innovative ideas and policies implementation. Each children in India should have an opportunity to choose their own passion as their profession, from school life rather than being forced to learn, what most of the Indian parents do.
Education policy should be like where we not only get to learn the theoretical only it should consist the practical knowledge too. Making skill education mandatory. And the syllabus should have at least one moral knowledge or life lessons session to motivate the youth.
We should try to give a special focus on the mental health of youths, by making seminars and motivating them.
In every schools, Yoga and meditation classes should be given.

India’s Development is in the Hands of the Young People
Almost 34 per cent of the Indian population consists of youth. They have the power to change the nation. The young mind will be more fresh and innovative which helps in the progress of the country.
Youths seem to have the ability to face any challenges and problems.
Nation first theory should be compulsory in each school.
In every school and colleges they should be taught about the basic skills in every field like agriculture, science, and social science.
We should try to evolve the quality of education in primary schools so that everyone can take proper education.

Today's young generation is more creative, hardworking, and aware of their future. They are working to achieve their goal and to contribute to their nation. They have the ability to create an identity for themselves.

These stakeholders have two objectives; the first is to promote youth development through programmes on education, skill development, health care, sports etc. The second is to facilitate youth participation and engagement on issues such as community development, politics, governance etc.
The National Youth Policy, 2014 (NYP-2014) seeks to define the Vision of the Government of India for the Youth of the Country and identify the key areas in which action is required, where not enough is being done, to enable youth development and to provide a framework for action for all stakeholders.

Rate of suicide has been increasing among the youth in India, and the very reason is failure in examination and not getting a suitable job.

One dimensional education system and narrow mentality have pressurized the students and spoil the youth life (Socially. Economically And so on) Thanks the current govt. for bringing the new education policy -2021 which is dynamic and multifaceted.
We always teach students that “Failure is the pillar of success” so we need to learn from our failure but I would say, enough patience is required to deal with failure. Hence not failure but patience is the pillar of success. (Patience is power).

Therefore, National youth policy should focus how youth will handle bad circumstance and they can understand “Confident walking is better than hopeless running”.
