To address the growing concerns in the present Accreditation and Ranking systems of the Government of India had constituted a High-Level Committee. This Committee considered the introduction of strategic reforms consistent with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and the need for adopting a simple, trust-based, objective and rationalized system for approval, accreditation and ranking of Higher Educational Institutions with a verifiable and secured centralised database through technology-driven modern systems. Methodologies for facilitating Ease of Doing Business for the stakeholders, duly facilitating students in making more informed choices for selection of institutions/ programmes were also considered by the Committee.

After a series of deliberations, a High-Level Committee has submitted its draft Report on ‘Transformative Reforms for Strengthening Periodic Assessment and Accreditation of All Higher Educational Institutions in India’ to the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

In light of this, MyGov, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, seeks feedback and suggestions from all the stakeholders for the finalisation of the report.

This report has now been placed in the public domain until June 22, 2023.

Dear MyGovernment & all of its Ministers,
Namaskar! _/|\_
Meri ek dil se vinanti hai aap sabhi ko ki India mein kahi bhi Natural Disasters se problem recurring ho, jaisey ki Assam mein aur during Heavy Monsoons doosrey States mein to please uska kuch Central Government se permanent solution kar do.
Agar past mein funding hua tha kuch lekin kaam nai hua pura to kuch aisa panel ya group setup kardo ki solution par pura kaam hojaye. Almost every year apney logo ko esa trouble mein dekh kar bahot dukh hota hai. Ghar bhi nahi rehta bahot logoka to state Economy mein kita bhi Industrialisation ke liye Invest karo ya Human resources ke liye woh under utilised hi rahega. Yeh natural disasters related problems ke liye Government ne NDRF bahot strong kiya hai uske liye Congratulations!

Hi Sir,

The root cause of all the issues that we have in india is the population. If you see other European countries as well as US, Australia, New Zeeland.. They have less + educated people who follow rules of the country.

India needs to pass a population control bill as soon as possible.
With less and educated population it will remove all nonsence values that today we see for position, money, property and power.

We can track peoples income, can apply rules online and it will remove 100% courrption from the country.

This is not possible when you have 1.4 billion people. With this much population no matter how much resources + infra you develop in the country it will always be less and whole country will look like un handle exception in the future.

Ideal population of India or New Bharat should be 8-10 CR.

National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an Inter University Centre (1994) of UGC, does assessment and a graded accreditation of HEIs at the Institution level, over 5-year block periods. Proposed NEP 2020 Vision is better than Present Accreditation System However, Grading accreditation may be relaced by Accreditation only as it creates unhealthy competition amongst institutions.
There is need for uniformity of syllabus throughout the country with option to study in mother language.
There is need for all HEIS to select quality teachers with unform system and selected teachers should be equal in all respect like salary. promotion etc. to attract talent and retention of faculty.
There is need to inculcate reading habits amongst students and visit to libraries need to be encouraged by HEIs.
There is need for formulating policy for giving incentives for outstanding students and teachers by HEIs to promote excellence.

To improve the quality of education system in indian all the appointments for school ,colleges , and educational institutions should selected base on eligibility examination like teachers [TET exam conducted by tamilnadu government], for assistant professors [NET or SLET ].
For regular appointments the government should announce it is mandatory pass eligibility examination for qualifications
