Last Date :

Kalyan-Dombivli has been short-listed as one of the 100 cities in India to be developed as a SMART City under the SMART Cities Mission. Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) ...
First how you will remove the gundagiri from the system..? Most of the NagarSevaks are Gundas..? How they will work on smart city. They are busy in buying Luxury cars on our hard earn money. Any ways Following are the question. 1> How you will integrate youths in the system..just Facebook suggestion page will not help. 2> Pollution from MIDC.I stay in Gandhi Nagar, I know how many people as suffering due to the dangerous gases and water of MIDC waste, no one is doing anything. 3> The traffic iss
Promote the use of Digilocker (https://digitallocker.gov.in/) facility of Central government and incorporate the same with its KDMC website (http://www.kdmc.gov.in). This is must for making the e-governance successful as KDMC demands for supporting documents to be submitted along with the application form for the online services that it claims to give. Most of the online services mentioned on KDMC website are not completely online, they require the citizen to visit personally. Get rid of this.
The Kalyan Dombivli Municipal corporation website (http://www.kdmc.gov.in), already has most of the things required for e-governance. And the citizens of the corporations are well qualified to use this e-governance facility. Still it needs improvement in terms of submission of documents needed for a particular application (like completion certificate, etc), online filling of application form, etc. KDMC needs to make its website more effective, so that people need not visit personally.
location posted below. the area near these locations is degrading day by day.Their is a dumping ground near this location blocking the road(most of the garbage is scattered on the road).Population of dogs is on the rise at this location.Industrial area drains hazardous water waste which stays their causing air pollution and providing conditions for mosquito breeding and various insects.

Transport Infrastructure needs to be improved. Another major change required is in solid waste management system. MUMBAI HC HAS ALREADY STAYED KDMC FROM SANCTIONING FURTHER COMMENCEMENT CERTIFICATE DUE TO LACK OF DUMPING GROUND AND WMS.
All things are good for the development of the city but I would like to put some light on the basic things like Water Supply. Since last 10-15 Days the water supplied is very bad. One can't even take a bath using this water and gov expects us to drink this water. Why can't these issues be solved on priority basis whenever contacted officials they say will be solved soon. Can someone say who will be responsible for any casualties caused due to bad water? #SmartCity , #KalyanDombivli, #MyGov
Here are the key issues that require immediate attention:
- Garbage disposal: Proper management of waste be it dry or wet. Also, We can't leave garbage lying near the garbage bin. Every morning the garbage truck should pick up garbage from societies. This will ensure the garbage doesn't lie in and around the surrounding areas near the bin.
- Footpaths: Currently, most of the footpaths are either occupied by shopkeepers or some temporary stalls. Footpaths should be kept open for people to walk
Kalyan-Dombivli is located between Mumbai-Pune and Nasik. Further, the proposed international Airport near New Mumbai is with in the radius of 20-25 km from the city centers. The smart city project must focus on Faster connectivity to these metro cities.
Additional bridge over creek near Durgadi fort and railway bridge near kolsewadi will help to de-congestion of traffic.
Metro connectivity via kalyan- dombivli for Mumbai - Pune and Mumbai- Nasik route can be considered.
