Skill development should be made very simple and short term courses.for example in construction industry there are centering carpenters, masons, plumbers, painters in many cases it's school dropouts due to various reasons. There are no short term courses for making them ready for the field,And be efficient, best practices, technical reasoning, use of safety equipments. They should pass different levels for higher remuneration. The courses should be as short as possible.training should be on Sundays.

At present skill development is only limited to undergraduates. In the field of Architecture many students who pass out need many more software skills to be really worthwhile esp. if they are looking for jobs in gulf countries. This skill development may kindly be extended to them after graduation from 3 to 6 months facility. Similar is the plight of engineers they also need some skills to become employable in industry. so industry oriented courses or training may be helpful.

The skill development is not only a part of to educate youth for technical skill. The skill development can be explored with standardization of infrastructural constructions. e.g. If the providing housing to each family living in undignified conditions and or huts in villages and also in cities and towns can be redeveloped into smart residential and commercial complexes with efficiently and with security. I am attaching some pictures.

Firstly all Indian companies should be brought under government. All companies will be under government.Government should form a company called United companies of India. All companies will be working under this.Government will have 50% right on uci and remaining 50% right will be under private companies.Only UCI certified company will be considered legal.companies should to pay tax to uci.govt work will be given to uci member companies. Then it is easy to tackle reservation and unemployment.

There should be no duplicacy of specific Training Skills programmes so that there is a focus on specified skills in an institute specialized in the specific skill unless there is a capacity constraint.
Skill development centers shoudl adopt Sandwitgh type of programme being followed by some of the institutes in collaboration with a near by Industry pvt or public For e.g. the model adopted by JSS Poly technique in Najangud town/Mysuru Dist ,Karnataka in collaboration with BEML - Mysuru
