12. Diet plan for PCOD patient and patient at risk of pcod are
a. Protein rich diet
Pulses, lentils, yogurt , soya, egg white
b. Antioxidants
Flex seed, kadhi patta, haldi, almond, cinnamon
c. Vitamins
Amla, capsicum, citrus fruit,
d. Oral fluid
e. Green vegetables
f. Fruits
G. Fiber
Green veg, oats, fruit
Avoid
Meat
Egg yolk
Milk and milk products
Rajma
Mushroom
Coffee
Refined wheat flour
Carbs
Spicy,junk and bakery items
Alcohol

Many girls take milk due to temporary weakness and sickness, during menstrual cycle, but milk and products should be avoided strictly they increase digestive problem, acidity, abdominal blotting and also painful periods, fruit juice can be replace by milk to reduce weakness
Coffee - contain caffeine that increase cramp and uterine pain
Green tea can be replace by coffee
Carbohydrates- should be avoided strictly, even for non pcod female also
7. Take dinner atleast before 3hours of sleeping
8. Do not drink much water at night
9. Avoid bakery products
Bakery product are high in carbohydrates it increase insulin production which is a major cause of pcod.they also contain sugar, saturated fat which is seriously alarming for pcod risk females
10. Avoid meat specially red meat they contain transfat . Irregulate hormones, increase chance of pcod
Specially during periods meat should be strictly avoided, take fish instead.
3. Add yogurt in your diet.

Very useful during periods to reduce gastric problems
4. Avoid long interval food intake
Take 5-6 small meals
It reduces insulin absorption and glucose absorption too.
It maintains energy and reduce hunger
5. Add protein in your diet
Take 1gm per kg of your weight daily
6. Take haldi and almond after meal, it reduces pain and abdominal swelling during periods
PCOD female should take care of diet regularity and time.
1. Never avoid breakfast
Take sprouted pulses, lentils, any protein rich breakfast, it reduces high intake at a time
Filling of stomach is increased by times thus reduces repeated intake of food
Also reduce belly fat, increase interval of second meal
2. Take fruit juice, salad atleast two times one at afternoon and second about 4-5 pm, it provides equal energy without increasing body mass
Also contain natural sugar
During PCOD maintaining heamoglobin and calcium level is also important
Sometimes excessive bleeding and sometimes period irregularity due to low hemoglobin is occurred
To maintain these include in diet
1. Green vegetables - contain vitamin b 12, 6 are iron rich , kale, spinach are calcium rich
Include green veg on your diet
2. Control sugar intake one can replace it by jaggery, it increases glucose in body, increases weight
Avoid carbohydrates, replace white rice by brown rice
