Theme2: Ranking of institutions and accrediatations
Accreditation should not be voluntary it should be compulsory to every institute so that quality of education maintained.
1. Indian universities must focus on its resources for research including liberal arts and social sciences so as to improve the country’s position in the global rankings
2. India must develop its own ranking system relying on indicators more suitable to Indian situation as other ranking systems have heavy weightage for perception/subjective factors in which Indian Universities lose out.
3. Accreditation must be made mandatory for all institutions irrespective of funding of institution.
