The role of new and renewable energy has been increasing significantly in recent times with the growing concern for the country's energy security. To achieve energy self-sufficiency, it is necessary to deploy new and renewable energy for supplementing the energy requirements of our country. So, we ask you to suggest ways for encouraging the use of renewable energy on this open discussion forum.

For example, I don't know much about the current regulations but setting up elephant, rhino, cow farms to produce milk, urine, and most importantly...poop, depending on existing available extraction technologies, may be a viable project to put unprofitable farmers or new laborers to work, and using biofuel tech to provide electricity to the farm and to sell to a power grid? We could also use the animals for local amusement (mini zoo like) and educate on the care of our beloved animals?

Good evening; it's been over a year since I've been on here but I'm glad to see so much progress on so many fronts. Thank you PM Modi, PM Modi's cabinet, and Dr. Rajan for all that you do.

Recently I've been reading about rhino, monkey, elephant, tiger deaths along with news about gold in cow urine, biomass and solar. I don't know how much land is or isn't available, and even in the absence of the much needed Land Acquisition bill, I think potentially renting land from owners may work.

Sir,
India has many open drains and nalas. Will it not be feasible to cover the top of the drains with Solar Panels. This will not only give us additional power but it will also result in improvement of the general health condition of the public at large.
Another advantage is that the execution does not require any land accqusition which is a big hassle in our country.

Sir
In today rooftop solar purchase agreement only excess can be supplied to grid. If government can by all unit produced at fixed rate say 6 ruppes per unit.
Then many small unit of 1/2 to 1 mgvat will come up.
There many industry basically agro processing like cotton ginning units. Which have large sheds can be used for rooftop solar.

Why don't we make solar tunnels?
We can allow private companies to make tunnels over railway tracks and install solar panels on it.
The added benefit will be that the government won't have to spend a penny.
A similar thing has been done in A.

Use of solar panel on rooftop will not only reduce the electric bill but can be a source of income. As extra energy produce as such can be sold to electric department. Solar panel of top of shed in rail-station can be another way of using solar energy. Thirdly solar panel can be fitted on top of e-rickshaw.

I have done a lot of research work on an independent basis on extracting energy from the Earth's 24 hour spin. I have also designed a horse shoe magnet which changes its polarity based on its direction of travel on a vertically mounted rail at the Equator.
If transducers are made using this principle and mounted inside the shell of pistons of an automobile engine, the extra energy derived from the Earth"s spin is used to boost the horse power using a proper feedback.

Dear All,
I have done a lot of research in extracting energy from the Earth's 24 hour spin. A prototype has been tested.India is blessed being closer to the Equator than usa which helps the r/d process.
The Earth engine can be underground and has no seasonal effect since the Earth's spin is eternal and everywhere.
In fact,I have a technique explaied which shows a technique of extracting energy from the Earth's orbit .
