First I would like to Thank MyGov team for bringing this Discussion. I'm very much interested in collecting postage stamps. I feel proud when I say I'm a Stamp Champ as well as a Philatelist. I started collecting postage stamps from different countries when I was studying in 5th standard. Through stamps one could learn so many things like culture, wildlife, nature, food, art. It helps to connect with different people and exchange ideas and stamps It's a beautiful and worth hobby. These days usage of postage stamps has dropped because of courier service and franklig system. Moreover due to electronic gadgets usage and social media networks letter writing habit and using postal stamps to send letters is very less. Kids must be encouraged to do stamps collection as a hobby and learn many things. I feel that some of us are really blessed as we could collect postage stamps easily few years ago. But this hobby is becoming rare now. We need to promote this hobby more..
