Ajmer, the city rich in heritage and culture inRajasthan has been selected as one of the 100 cities in India under the Government of India’s flagship programme – the Smart Cities Mission. Ajmer Municipal Corporation (AMC) is pleased to inform that they are now in the process of formulating a Smart City Proposal to participate in the Smart City Challenge. This process requires extensive citizen participation and stakeholder consultations at multiple levels for formulating a vision statement and strategies for the development of the city.

To succeed in this ambitious target, we request the citizens of Ajmer to provide their valuable suggestions and aspirations regarding the development of the city through this platform. Citizen’s valuable inputs and innovative ideas will help us in developing a sustainable smart city proposal for Ajmer.

We look forward for the active participation of the citizens and request them to share their vision for a Smart Ajmer city.

We request you to submit your suggestions by 30th November, 2015.

अजमेर काे स्मार्ट सिटी बनाने के लिए सबसे पहले पाेलूशन मुक्त कराना हाेगा जिसके लिए पूरे शहर के डीजल पैटराेल से चलने वाले अाॅटाे व टेक्सी काे बन्द करके इ रिक्शा चलाने हाेंगे जिससे सभी देशी व विदेशी सैलानी अधिक से अधिक यहा ठहरे अाैर पुषकर व अजमेर का पूर्र्ण् अानन्द लेवे अाैर यह सब पाेलूशन मुक्त अजमेर से ही सम्भ्व है

In respect to smart city concept,business,economic,infrastructure development are OK, but, the real development of social harmony,human development,cultural development, etc.things are very important for peace,harmony and fruitfull helping nature of people.For that,there should be YOGA,SPIRITUAL,PRAYER CENTRE in CITY.There should be no crime & no accused,Jail should be paid & luxurious with all accommodation like AC,bed-sofa,pure bhojan-breakfast,TV but no mobile-net as per jail manual strictly

The concept of smart city should not affect our culture, 'sanskriti'. We are contributing in making our city smarter in terms of digitalization, technology, we are approaching to become hi-tech but along with all these things we should follow our traditions also. Our culture ,tradition, language is our identity and without identity How we can call our city, our nation a smarter one..... think for a while....

In Jaipur or any other City for that matter Public Distribution System should be efficient. The Prices of Essential Commodities are going up daily. Wheat,Rice ,Pulses,Edible Oils must be provided by the Government at low Rates to poor and middle class families. Pulses have become verycostly. 1 Kg of Red gram Dhal is at the Cost of 160/ Rs.Government must conduct raids on Hoarders and Import from other Countries.and supp;y to people through efficient PDS .
