This is a thrilling news for the people of the City that Bhubaneswar is declared as one among 100 Smart Cities of India. The City will be Smart and facilities will be provided to make the people's life smarter. But I feel one aspect may create hindrance on the path and that is scarcity of Power generation in the State. Because to enhance the capacity of different facility, energy is vitally required which has been a crisis for the State at the moment. Permanent source of energy to City is Vital

Great to hear that Bhubaneswar is added to Smart City list; now onus is on local administration to put the best roadmap and proceed at rocket speed. I think transportation is the key to any smart city and it will help a lot if special focus is given on transport i.e. plan for metro; high speed rail connections; AC buses; special corridors for safe and speedy transport

WHICH WAY WE SHOULD CRAFT A NEW CAPITAL CITY OF BBSR? IT SHOULD HAVE ALL FACILITIES CONNECTED ON-LINE AND TELE-COMMUNICATED BY DIGITAL MEDIA.WHAT IS DIGITIZATION ? ESTABLISHING SOFTWARE PARKS OR ELECTRONIC COMPANIES?YES, WHICH ALSO MEANS TO UTILIZE LOCAL RESOURCES TO MAKE IT "SMARTER" ALSO.IT SHOULD GROW AND MOBILIZE GROWTH OF OTHER CITIES LIKE METRO -ECONOMICALLY,INDUSTRIALLY,SELF-SUFFICIENT ,EMPLOYMENT , JOB PROSPECTS,BUSINESS,INFRASTRUCTURE; IF ONE PUTS INPUT ,WILL REAP BETTER OUTPUT HERE .

The water people receive at home should be drinkable without needing any extra purification process. I would't call a city "smart" if even as basic need as pure water is not served to its citizen.

Bhubaneswar is the fastest growing city in eastern Indian region. It has crossed few miles un the field of providing civic amenities to feel legitimately proud of. We seek forward more n more number of citizen participation for implementation of Smart City programme.

I have some more ideas, but now I am afraid to do anything. I have ideas for better traffic management, improving quality of education, better public grievance addressing system but I am not seeing hunger in our judiciary system to implement it. Now I am trying to implement it in other states first and then our state will accept my ideas.

Almost every year we heard news of question paper leak. I have developed a software based solution in year 2012, to solve this issue where even the question setter won't be able to know the what question will come. I had presented this to relevant ministers, bureaucrats, but no one supported. I felt that we are lacking an important attitude NOT to take risks. We are not willing to implement anything new until it has been used by other states. Then how we will be better or best?

Pollutant vehicles should be nabbed as where they spotted. But I have observed that even a vehicle is emitting thick smoke, police is not doing anything. We have to enforce strong pollution check of vehicles every 6months.
