The roads in Hubli city have a lot of pot holes and often become muddy after a rain, the roads are too dusty and often cause pollution and cause adverse effect on Human health,to make Hubli as a smart city I would like to suggest that it is absolutely necessary that the roads are to be maintained and should be kept clean. There is always a traffic jam in the market areas I would also like to suggest that the roads are to be widened for safe transportation..

A cycling track should be set up all around the city. This encourages cycling which leads to healthy living and lesser pollution. The ongoing BRTS project is likely to greatly increase number of public transport users. A cycling track and parking spots around the city would be added benefit. Users can cycle up to bus stops, park their cycles and commute by bus.

*Under the name' SOLAR STREET' PROVIDE SOLAR LIGHTS TO THE STREETS by doing this so much electricity can be saved and encouragement by mahanagar palika for the use of LED lights by providing them in healthy rates.
*The traffic in hubli has become pathetic in Hubli. No of vehicles have drastically increased. I request the respective officials to widen the existing roads in the market area and plan FLYOVER at the busier area such as chennamma circle.

Hello,
To make Hubli-Dharwad a Smart city, there is utmost need to educate the people to become smart first.
Displaying educating boards like about maintaining cleaniness at the city, judicious use of water and electricity, less use of plastic etc should be done at the important corners of the city.
To start with this would certainly bring a change. If we become smart certainly our city will become smart.
I hope the idea will be considered.
