Sewage Treatment of Sagar city areas habituated on hillocks like Shanichari, Purbyau , Shukrabari etc. is a big challenge as presently the waste is directly discharged in the lake. Pumping the sewage all way by laying gravity or pumping mains connecting entire area around lake is going to be very cost intensive. Thus it is suggested that medium size isolated package sewage treatment plants may be installed near the lake for such hillocks.

Sagar City has expanded more than 5 to 7 km in all the directions except at Bhopal road side. After Lehedara Naka lot of infertile /single crop land is lying at one side and lot of land is occupied by Agricultural research department at other-side. This area being close to city may be chosen for model smart city. The problem of water supply which can be addressed by making a reservoir / small dam at Masanjhiri as we can not continue to depend on Rajghat for long time

There is big problem of parking in the main city i.e. Teen Batti area. There is dilapidated old school building near Teen -Batti. There is no point keeping the school building in crowded market place and this is very uncommon and inconvenient to children also. I suggest to re-locate the school and make a multi-level parking there.

It is good that Sagar municipal corporation implemented the on line building plan approval system but system is not truly automatic as manual intervention of some staff is there that keeps the proposal pending and scope of corruption exists.There should be the time limits and provision of penalty in case of delay for the system to be really effective.

Sagar is blessed with a big lake in the central part of city. This lake can be used beautifully for local transport connecting important areas of city by steamers / amphibian hovercrafts ( like done at Mumbai). This shall de-congest the the main city roads. Also we should develop water sports near Sanjay drive including more and more fountains for aeration and purification of water of lake.

There should be it college in SATNA

There should be broad area for parking cars in area out of markit

There should be minimum two bus stands and city bus and garden in every area free of police

Sagar city development /land use plan by town and country planning i.e draft plan-2031 is pending for approval of government of MP since last one year.Can we really plan future course of city without finalizing the future development plan of city? I suggest that for the holistic planning of city i.e. roads, drainage/ sewerage , urbanization of country side for model development, it is must that Sagar development draft plan-2031 is approved expeditiously.
