The followings may be few suggestive measures for a smart and clean city: 1. Street washing before sweeping; 2. Use Bio-disposers to dispose kitchen / bio-degradable waste directly to sewer network. 3. Areas without sewer network may be provided with Bio-digesters for tackling bio-degradable waste. 4. Manage all type of Solid Waste separately without co-mingling for efficient reuse / recycling. & 5. Prefer to provide decentralised sanitation facilities, community managed & self sustainable.

First of all bitumen roads should be replaced with concrete roads as the life of concrete roads is much more than bitumen roads. Before laying these roads vertical as well as horizontal concrete or steel pipe lines should be laid at some regular intervals (say after 50 ft.) connected with each other on both the sides of the roads to provide additional electric cables, telephone cables, water connections in future without digging roads. Same should also be provided for drainage / rainwater.
