The Government of lndia has launched an ambitious "Smart Cities Mission" to promote cities that provide core infrastructure and a good quality of life to its citizens, a clean and ...
warangal city is second most imporatant in telangana.hyderabad became burdened by migration and unemployment so warangal has the potential to develop as economic hub..comprehensive development plan is esserntial.so western telangana can depend on warangal instead of hyderabad in future
Likewise "Charity begin at home" in the same manner "Cleanliness begins at home". Necessary steps to clean market areas has to be adopted for smart city. Maximum use of trash for compost and proper utilization of water to reduce water wastage should be implemented. Maximum Citizen participation for right decision and Technology based solution to automatically catch people breaking rules on signals and send fine notice at home by capturing vehicle number and Use of renewable source of energy.
WARANGAL is house to first REC (Regional Engg College), now NIT (National Instt of Technology)amongst 20 NITs today. it was set up in 1959. I am privileged to be its B. TECH Alumni. log on www.nitw.ac.in

• Community level facilities need to be developed. Area based community facilities like health, education ,playground etc need to be developed
• The life line of the Tri City is NH 162. Very frequently traffic jams are happening. Corridor improvement plan should taken up as top priority project
• Approach roads for the city to need to be developed as grade separated four lane roads.
Warangal is a historical city. It is having rich cultural heritage. Its tourism potentials are yet to be explored. In addition to project Warangal as a tourism and historic city following needs to be developed
• Warangal need to be developed as historical city with all modern and basic infrastructure facilities
• Badrakale lake front need to be developed
• Water supply leakages need to be reduced
While expressing my gratitude for choosing Warangal as one of the SMART CITY under Smart City Mission, the following are to be focussed:
1.Proper Underground Sewage facility instead of Open Sewage system, thereby reducing health hazards to the public at large.
2.Provide safe drinking water supply to every house through water pipes
3.Proper Road connectivity without any potholes on the Roads
4.Strengthen the existing Govt Hospitals infrastructure for providing Health care to the citizens
