we should have better train enquiry system . We are the contact centre of the world .But for our own train we can not give the enquiry system to wipro,tcs,techmahindra,infosys. This will inprove the system. And auditing of this system should be done competitor of this company. To improve the system . Also proper monitoring should be done

Please provide luggage carts like in airport for railway passengers. Most of the time middle class elders and family with kids are struggling to carry the baggage. Also it is very struggle to walk for a KM with luggage. You can adopt PPP model. So that big corporate’s will spend and operate this service. So that they can get benefit through advertisement. This is a low hanging fruit for the government.

IT IS VERY APPRECIABLE DEED OF THE RAILWAYS TO INTRODUCE BULLET TRAINS IN INDIA,BUT I REQUEST THE GOVT TO ALSO CONSIDER THE BASIC PROBLEMS LIKE CLEANLINESS,SEAT AVAILABILITY DURING PEAK SEASONS AND TACKLING THE EXCESSIVE DELAY OF TRAINS DURING THE FOG.thank u

1.Auto SMS alerts to passengers about Platform No. on which train will arrive at station.This will avoid people crowding in front of display boards to check out which platform the train is arriving before they board
2.Option to include family/caretaker's mobile No. in irctc site to send auto updates about train moving status for them to be updated and also arrive at station for picking them up.
3.SMS alerts in advance in case of train delays/running late/cancellation to avoid inconvenience

Being a citizen of India I wish to have some systems that avails the person a facility of SMS that is if the train is late the must have a system that sends an alert message to each and every passanger of that particular train.
We also need to create an app that works an all mobile OS platform as IOS , Android, Symbian and all that would serve as a guide to passanger.
If the chart of the ticket is created then it must be simultaneously uploaded on the database which will show it in app.
we must have a help desk to serve passanger who is in his maiden journey and is not at all aware about the facilities and the resorces available for them, this help desk if implemented effectively and efficiently would lead to better revenues for railway and also could provide a way for emplpyment.
we also need to advance our system by having a tracking device on trains that would enable the office of railway dept. to track the actual position of train on track.

Our railway offices are mainly composed of old systems of commands which takes time and cannot be quicker like in other countries .They have present system in which JAVA programers can develop Programs in which it will take only few seconds to book it and transfer transactions.To send message through these programs automatically after one messages over a particular number selected by Railway officers

ट्रेन की सटीक जानकारी होनी चाहिए कि ट्रेन इस समय कहा पर है, "ट्रेन रनिंग स्टेटस वेबसाइट" भी सटीक जानकारी नहीं दे पाता GPS सिस्टम सही काम नहीं करते, ३० मिनट से १ घंटे के बीच कभी-कभी पता ही नहीं चलता कि ट्रेन कहाँ पर है यदि, किसी को ट्रेन में सफर कर रहे यात्री को लेने जाना हो तो वह यह देखकर/जानकर जा सकता है अन्यथा खामख्वाह स्टेशनों और प्लेटफार्म पर भीड़ बढ़ेगी !
ट्रेन आगमन की जानकारी प्लेटफार्म में भी आखिरी क्षणों तक में बदलती रहती है !
