Since 1949, 7th December is observed as the Armed Forces Flag Day every year throughout the country to honour the men in uniform who valiantly fought to safeguard the country against enemies, both at the border and in the hinterland.

Press Information Bureau’s Social Media Cell initiated the ‘Design a Logo & Craft a Tagline for Press Information Bureau’ contest on the MyGov platform from 16th March, 2015 to 1st May, 2015. The contest recorded considerable participation with nearly 1510 submissions.

The event is organised jointly by Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) & Oil and Gas companies of public sector every year. This time, PCRA had conducted an Online Tagline Contest in association with MyGov for OGCF.
