Design a Logo, give a Brand name and a Tag line for National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN) Project

Terms & Conditions

  • Competition is open to all Indian citizens residing within and outside India.
  • Once entry is submitted to MyGov, other MyGov users can like the entries.
  • Entries will be judged on Creativity, Originality, Technical parameters and its visual impact.
  • The brand name, logo and tagline designed by the winner will be the intellectual property of Government of India for promotional and display purposes or as deemed fit and designer cannot exercise any right over it.
  • The participant must be the same person who has designed the logo, brand name and tag line and plagiarism would not be allowed.
  • The contest will be finalised at the level of Minister of Communications & IT. The decision will be final and binding on all the contestants.
  • The Department of Telecommunications reserves the right to reject any or all the entries/submissions. No claim would be entertained for the rejected entries/submissions. DoT will no more use or disclose the rejected entries/submissions.
  • The disqualified entries shall not be used by the department for any purpose and the department shall have no intellectual rights over the same.
  • In case the entries/submissions are not found suitable, the Department of Telecommunications may decide the Logo, Brand name and Tagline on its own.
  • DoT employees and their relatives are not eligible for the contest.

Technical Parameters

  • Participants must have accurate and updated MyGov.in Profile including profile photo. Entries with incomplete profiles would be rejected.
  • Entry must be submitted to creative corner section of MyGov.in
  • Please note that the logo design must be in original and should not violate any provision of Indian copyright act, 1957.
  • Department can take certificate of originality from winner with an undertaking that “design can be removed & award money taken back”.
  • Please do not imprint or watermark your logo design.
  • Participant should upload the logo design in colour and in .jpg/.png format. The name and tagline can be posted in the text box.
  • Submission should be in the portrait layout with the size 3 cms x 3 cms to 7.5 cms x 7.5 cms. Designs in any other size and layout would not be considered.

Any legal proceedings arising out of the competition/ its entries/ winners shall be subject to local jurisdiction of Delhi State.
