Suggest a Title and Tagline for the proposed scheme of National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation

National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation (herein after referred to as NSKFDC) a Government of India Undertaking under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment,' was incorporated under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956, on 24th January 1997 as a 'company not for profit'. It is fully owned by the Government of India and has an authorized share capital of Rs. 600.00 crores. NSKFDC is to act as an Apex Corporation for all round Socio ¬economic upliftment of the Scavangers Safai Karamcharis and their dependents throughout India.

NSKFDC has various Loan & Non-loan schemes to provide financial assistance to its target group under Agriculture & Allied, Small Industries, & Service including Transport Sectors.

The details of Loan Schemes offered by the NSKFDC are as follows:-

  1. Term Loan (TL)
  2. Sanitation Workers Rehabilitation Scheme (SWRS)
  3. Micro Credit Finance (MCF)
  4. Mahila Samridhi Yojana (MSY)
  5. Mahila Adhikarita Yojana (MAY)
  6. Education Loan

In order to support the target group, the Corporation also extends the various non-credit based schemes as follows: -

  1. Workshops:
  2. Marketing Linkages/Melas/Exhibitions/Trade Fairs:
  3. Awareness camps
  4. Skill Development Training

NSKFDC has been nominated as Nodal Agency for Implementation of Rehabilitation scheme for the identified Manual Scavengers under Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013 (MS Act, 2013)

Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013 (MS Act, 2013), contains detailed provisions for inter alia eliminating the manual scavenging and comprehensive rehabilitation of the identified manual scavengers. The implementation of the Act by various States/UTs is underway. However, keeping in view various dimensions of the problem, the NSKFDC has launched certain initiatives within the existing framework of available Schemes and resources to consolidate the ongoing efforts for realising the objectives of the Act.

Accordingly, NSKFDC proposes to lunch a Scheme for Financing "Pay and Use" Sanitary Community Toilets in Public Private Partnership (PPP) Mode and Procuring Sanitation Related Vehicles to the entrepreneurs belonging to its target group i.e. Safai Karamcharis. It would be in consonance with the vision of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The proposed scheme is enclosed for reference.

Task:

This task seeks inputs to design an innovative, impressive, and creative "Title and Tagline" for the said scheme. The last date of submission is 28th September, 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 20,000/-.

Technical Parameters :

  • The participant should upload the Title/ Tagline as a file in JPG or PNG or PDF format.
  • The Title/ Tagline should be catchy and should not be more than one line.
  • Please note that the Title/ Tagline must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.
  • Entry must be submitted to the Creative Corner Section of MyGov.in
  • Make sure your MyGov profile is accurate and updated as we will use the information on the profile for further communication. This includes your name, photo and phone number. Entries by those with incomplete profiles will be rejected.

Evaluation Criteria :

  • The Competition is open to all Indian Citizens residing within and outside India.
  • Once the entry is submitted on MyGov, other MyGov users can ‘like’ the entries. Once an entry is submitted, the person who submitted the entry can share an auto generated Tweet/Post stating that he or she has shared an entry on MyGov. Similarly, those who are ‘liking’ every entry can share an auto-generated Tweet/Post stating they have liked a particular entry.
  • Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit and visual impact and how well they communicate the sprit of the scheme.
  • The Title and Tag Line designed by the winner will be the intellectual property of the NSKFDC and the designer cannot exercise any right over it. The prize winning Title and Tag Line is meant to be used by the NSKFDC for promotional and display purposes, IEC material and also for any other use as may be deemed appropriate.
  • The participant must be the same person who has designed the Title and Tag Line and plagiarism would not be allowed.
  • All the entries received by NSKFDC will be placed before a Selection Committee for final selection.
  • The decision of the Selection Committee will be final and binding on all the contestants.
  • The disqualified entries shall not be used for any purpose and the NSKFDC shall have no intellectual rights over the same.
    • Any legal proceedings arising out of the competition/ its entries/ winners shall be subject to local jurisdiction of Delhi State.
