The Ganga is India’s life. It is an integral part of our history and cultural ethos. Sadly, the condition of the Ganga has become pitiable over the years. You are invited to share your roadmap with ideas and suggestions on how to improve the condition of the Ganga so that the Ganga is once again restored to its glory.
Here are my points.
PLEASE NOTE I HAVE BEEN DOING EXTENSIVE RESEARCH ON THESE SUBJECTS FOR LAST 11 YEARS.
KINDLY FIND ATTACHED MY PROPOSED 10 ACTIONABLE POLICY MEASURES TOWARDS "CLEAN & HEALTH - GANGA MAA"
Coordinate with temple officials & get people to throw waste in dustbins. Plastic should be banned. Garbage bins should be placed on boats. Organise awareness programmes on the importance of a clean Ganga with the locals.Have a heavy fine on littering while providing dustbins. Encourage people to throw ashes in a provided dumping ground specific for that purpose.Regularly monitor cleanliness of the ganga. Encourage use of cloth bags in shops. Give perks to corp. workers so they work efficently
Please find attached a file with detailed road map (year wise plan) along with policy measures (shown in italicized) to cleanse river Ganga.
Revered Sir, For the Clean Ganga mata project a donation scheme with tax benefits under
Sec 35 AC / 80G (100% / 50% deduction) of the Income Tax Act may be announced for the project. If 1 crore assessees give Rs.1000 each then it will easily amount to Rs.1000 crs. In fact collecting about Rs.10000 crores in a period of 5 years is achievable. Over 75000 branches of SBI and other nationalised banks may be utilised for remittances into a specific account. With highest regards
I heart fully thank Modiji for providing this oppurtunity for public. Knowing the Cause & Effect is the best way to give good Policy points. I have considered the Cause list to my knowledge & provided the policy coverage to handle it. Enclosed PDF file explaining the same.
Thanks for creating this task. Lot of people have provided very good suggestions here. Please find attached document for some more suggestions towards cleaning of Holy Ganga. My main focus is to find out ways of creating fund for this gigantic task.
GANGA IS CLEAN.
WE ARE PUTTING POLLUTED WATER AND GARBAGE IN IT.
SO MY VIEW IS TO TO PREVENT THIS.
TEMPORARY GARBAGE OF PUJA WILL NOT BE MAJOR ISSUE.
CONCENTRATE ON NON AVOIDABLE LIKE GUTTER AND NALA WATER AND SEWAGE.
SO IDENTIFY THAT SPOT AND DO THE NEEDFUL BECAUSE THERE IS NO SEA NEARBY EVERY RIVER WILL BE POLLUTED BUT WE HAVE TO MAKE IT LESS POLLUTED BY TREATMENT PLANT AND MORE SWEEPING FOR NORMAL GARBAGE WHICH CAN BE REDUCED BY MORE DUSTBIN PUT FOR SPITTING AND GARBAGE COLLECTION
1. Collect sponsorship from industries like tourism, boating etc.
2. Collect sponsorship and penalties from Industries which has polluted the river.
3. Strict laws should be made to force industries to implement Low-Impact Development.
4. Make own website to show the development projects carried out example: http://www.dcwater.com/kids/activities/will_it_float/will_it_float.html
This is the best website which also has case study and games for kids.
Attached are some suggestions to clean Ganga.
Also we have to shift Industries based along Ganga like Tanneries in Kanpur etc...
