Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India has approved a nationwide initiative namely ‘National Digital Literacy Mission’ (NDLM) to provide ICT training to 10 Lakh (Ten Lakh) persons One in every eligible household in selected Blocks in each State/UT. This would enable the beneficiaries to use ICT and related applications and participate effectively in the democratic process, nation building and enhance their livelihood.
This scheme seeks creative mind to design a Logo, Slogan and Banner for NDLM initiative. The Last date of entries is 15th September, 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

e-shiksha ka adhikar hamara ho".
Defining NDLM Logo- This digital literacy is meant for everyone therefore there's no gender inequality and differences among the people thats why a boy and a girl holding the mission together. Their tri-color shows the nationality and '@' sign shows the e-learning or digital literacy surrounding them.

The Logo represents "a citizen in front of a computer/laptop". The Keyboard with Enter Key represents the "START" of digital literacy mission towards making a digital community

The name of mission is Atal Bihari Samagra Shikshan Abhiyan. The word samagra means complete. The education is incomplete today without knowledge of computers. And its also continuation program of sarva Shikshan Abhiyan initiated by Atal ji. The sloagn is samaya ka maang - Jnana tarang means it is demand of the world today that a person should be well aquainted with knowledge to use devices run by radiations. The logo means that earth is becoming smaller with IT development.
My logo represents singular, holistic, approach to prepare INDIA for change through one single digital language.
