Bharat Parv event will be organized by the Government of India at the Lawns and Gyan Path in front of Red Fort, Delhi from 26th to 31st January, 2023, as part of the Republic Day Celebrations.
The event would have Food Festival, Handicraft mela, folk and tribal dance performances, Performances by cultural troupes, Service Band Concert, Display of Republic Day Tableaux, illumination of Red Fort etc.
Branding and promotion of Dekho Apna Desh, Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat, G20 and Mission LiFE would be undertaken during the event. The entire Bharat Parv zone will be designated as single use plastic free area.
Ministry of Tourism has been designated as the nodal Ministry for the event, the highlights of which include showcasing of the best Republic Day Parade tableaux at the venue, performances by the 3-Armed Forces bands (static and moving), cultural performances by the Zonal Cultural Centres as well as cultural troupes from States/ UTs, a pan – India Food Court with 60 food stalls and a pan – India Crafts Bazaar with 65 handicraft stalls.
The inauguration of the “Bharat Parv” will be on 26th January, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. and will be open to general public from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on 26th January, 2023 and from 12: noon to 10:00 p.m. from 27th to 31st January, 2023.
About the competition
Ministry of Tourism (MoT) in collaboration with MyGov is calling on the public at large to write and compose a Jingle for the upcoming Bharat Parv 2023 in the official Indian language as mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian constitution along with English and other UN languages.
The Jingle should be apt, relevant, and appealing. Jingles should contain voice, lyrics and musical accompaniment. It Should speak to the ideals and intent of Bharat Parv. In particular the unity Culture & Heritage, Arts, cuisine, handicraft etc. of the country.
Jingle should include the words Bharat Parv and It must focus on encouraging people to visit in upcoming Bharat Parv 2023 with their family and friends.
Competition brief:
Participants need to provide a script and a jingle of 30-35 seconds duration in any official Indian language as mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian constitution along with English and other UN languages- that is easily comprehensible, is peppy, and connects with the public at large.
The participants should upload their entry as a high-quality audio file to any media platform such as SoundCloud, YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., and enter the publicly accessible link in the comments section. The script also needs to be submitted in the form of a PDF document.
Last Date of Submission is 3rd January,2023

There will be three prizes i.e., First, Second & Third Prize as under: – (To be availed within 3 months of the announcement of result)
(a) 1st Prize – 3 nights -4 days Tour of Ladakh (Accommodation with meal + Sightseeing)** for winner Plus one.
(b) 2nd Prize – 3 nights-4 days Tour of Bhubaneshwar-Puri and Konark (Accommodation+ Sightseeing)** for winner Plus one.
(c) 3rd Prize – 2 nights-3 days Tour of Orchha and Khajuraho (Accommodation+ Sightseeing)** for winner Plus one.
