The Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India(GoI) launched the National Civil Aviation Policy 2016 (NCAP 2016) which aims to enhance regional air connectivity. As part of this Regional Connectivity Scheme(RCS)-UDAN was launched. The full form of UDAN is Ude Desh ka Aam Nagarik and aims to develop smaller regional airports to allow common citizens easier and affordable access to aviation services.
Darbhanga Airport has emerged as the top airport in the country under UDAN Regional Connectivity Scheme and to celebrate this, the Ministry of Civil Aviation is organizing a selfie contest Darbhanga- Gateway to Mithila to bring out the best of Darbhanga Airport for the world to see.
Rewards/ Gratifications:
The top 20 participants will be rewarded with ₹500/- each.
The winners will be declared and disseminated by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and will be informed on the blog.mygov.in.
