The concept of ‘Lifestyle for Environment'(LiFE) was introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at COP26 in Glasgow on 1st November 2021, urging the global community of individuals and institutions to make LiFE a global movement of “mindful and deliberate consumption, rather than mindless and destructive consumption” in order to protect the environment. As part of LiFE, everyone has the responsibility to live a life that enhances and protects the planet. Those who live in harmony with the planet are recognized as Pro Planet People.
