To celebrate women leadership in achieving Swachh and Sujal Gaon under Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) and Jal Jeevan Mission, and other national priorities relating to water, the Ministry of Jal Shakti, in association with the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, proposes to celebrate women leadership in the water, sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector by felicitating the women achievers who have contributed immensely to development of ODF Plus Model, and Har Ghar Jal villages, as well as Water Conservation, River Development etc under the National Flagship programs. A national event “Swachh Sujal Shakti Sammaan” shall be organized on the eve of International Women’s Day, 2023. This forum will bring women representations from the grassroots, speaking about their achievements & contributions in Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) and Jal Jeevan Mission, and other efforts contributing to ‘Development & Environment and Climate Sustainability’.
Objective of the event:
• To bring women’s contributions from the grassroots to the forefront of Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) & Jal Jeevan Mission and other water related action.
• To promote women’s perspective and creativity towards achieving Swachh & Sujal Gaon.
• Motivate the women changemakers by connecting with National leadership and further accelerate the momentum of the Ministry.
Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation invites entries for Lapel pin/Badge for Swachh Sujal Shakti Sammaan on MyGov platform.
Technical Parameters
• The SSSS-2023 lapel pin/badge design should be aligned with Swachh Bharat Mission-Grameen & Jal Jeevan Mission and reflect the values, vision, and overall approach of rural India.
• The participant should submit a high-resolution (600 dpi) image of the SSSS-2023 lapel pin/badge design in JPEG, PNG, BMP, or TIFF SVG formats only.
• The SSSS-2023 lapel pin/badge design should be distinctive and scalable.
• The winner shall be required to provide the original open-source file of the design.
• The design can be in multi-color but should be convertible to monochrome too.
• Design should look clean (not pixelated or bit-mapped) when viewed on-screen at 100%.
• Entries should not be submitted in compressed or self-extracting formats.
• The design should not be imprinted or watermarked.
• All fonts should be converted to Outlines/Curves.
Last date of submission is 10th February 2023.
