The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

Symbol indicates famous symbol @ with "d" and "i" first letters of Digital India. The seven segment display resembles the word digital at the first look.The font colour is a resemblance of our flag colour. The satellite and dish shows the enhancement of all the departments in the field of digital communication. This concept of digital India will definitely make the life of every common man of india proud and happy. This is a "direct to people" approach for all the corners of the people.

Though ours is not stylishly designed logo,we have comeup with an idea for futuristic design and put down on plain paper. Here is our concept behind this: the word digital is made up with numbers 0 and 1as the definition says so..we tried to highlight the roundings in the letters as 0s and strights ones as 1s.this will be outlined with India map which delivers patriotism
