Global Biofuels Alliance was launched during the G20 leadership summit in September’23 in Delhi, India by the Hon'ble Prime Minister alongside 8 countries and with the support of 19 countries and 12 International Organizations. GBA aims to serve as a catalytic platform, fostering global collaboration for the advancement and widespread adoption of biofuels.
Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas in collaboration with MyGov is hosting a Design of a logo for the Global Biofuel Alliance. You are invited to show your creative brilliance in designing a vibrant logo, that can be easily relatable to the concept of this important global initiative and reinforce the message of biofuels as a decarbonization pathway.
Theme of Logo
1. The logo aims to establish a powerful and recognizable visual identity. It should succinctly convey the GBA’s mission of increasing biofuels adoption.
2. Additionally, the logo should be versatile and scalable, ensuring it can be effectively used across various media and promotional materials, further amplifying the organization's message and impact.
3. The Logo designing competition is aimed at reaching the citizens in member/observer countries through creative means and involvement of the public at large for creating awareness about GBA with support from member countries.
Format and process guidelines:
1. Participant needs to register themselves on the www.mygov.in portal to participate in the contest.
2. Preferred file format: jpg, png
3. Maximum dimensions: 1000 x 1000 pixels
4. Should be designed on a digital platform
5. Versions required: A full-color version and a black-and-white version.
6. Participants will have to provide open files/ vector formats (AI, EPS, etc.) if requested
7. All submissions will be collated centrally and entries from each country will be shared with that country’s POC.
8. Payment to the winner will be made through electronic mode for which the necessary bank details will be taken after the declaration of the winner.
Evaluation criteria:
1. The entries will be judged based on elements of creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit, and visual impact and how well communicated is the theme of Global Biofuel Alliance
2. Adaptability/ Practicality: The logo will be used for the project on different mediums and sources (websites, emails, knowledge products, banners, brochures, etc.)
3. Scalability: Readability and impact at variable sizes are important criteria.
4. Innovativeness: What are the creative elements of the design and how well has the artist been able to use creativity and originality in design?
5. Relevance to the theme: The design should deliver a message relevant to the alliance’s objectives.
Gratification/Rewards:
1. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of USD 1000/-
2. Top 5 entries will be awarded a special mention
