National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) implements the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Policy, 2012 and the Drugs (Prices Control) Order (DPCO), 2013. NPPA, through the instrumentality of price control ensures adequate availability of essential medicines at affordable prices for the public.
NPPA fixes the ceiling prices of scheduled medicines included in Schedule-I of the DPCO, 2013. Besides, NPPA also monitors the movement of prices of non-scheduled medicines such that the increase is not more than 10% of MRP of the preceding 12 months.
The contestant is required to design a logo for NPPA, as follows:
The Logo should incorporate:
• An appropriate symbol/design
• Name of NPPA
• The Logo should also carry the line ‘Medicine under price control/ UPC
The logo should be usable on medicine strips, labels, on medicine bottles etc.
The last date of submission is the midnight of 21st July, 2016.
The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 30,000/-
The Logo should be submitted in JPEG/PNG/SVG format.
