Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) works under Department of Defence Research and Development of Ministry of Defence. DRDO is dedicatedly working towards enhancing self-reliance in Defence Systems by undertaking design & development leading to production of world class weapon systems and equipment in accordance with the expressed needs and the qualitative requirements laid down by the three services.
DRDO is working in various areas of military technology which include aeronautics, armaments, combat vehicles, electronics, instrumentation engineering systems, missiles, materials, naval systems, advanced computing, simulation and life sciences. DRDO while striving to meet the cutting edge weapons technology requirements provides ample spinoff benefits to the society at large thereby contributing to the nation building.
The vision of DRDO is to make India prosperous by establishing world class science and technology base and provide our Defence Services decisive edge by equipping them with internationally competitive systems and solutions
DRDO was formed in 1958 from the amalgamation of the then already functioning Technical Development Establishment (TDEs) of the Indian Army and the Directorate of Technical Development & Production (DTDP) with the Defence Science Organisation (DSO). Today, DRDO has grown multi-directionally in terms of the variety of subject disciplines, number of laboratories, achievements and stature.
The year 2018 will be marked as the Diamond Jubilee year OF DRDO. The organization is celebrating 60 years of luminary success through a series of events and competitions. Online Cyber Challenge is one such event which gives young Indian minds an opportunity to prove their expertise in the area of Information security awareness.
ABOUT CYBER CHALLENGE
Cyber Challenge is an online contest where all Indian citizens can participate. It will be a single-stage online event running for 24 hours. The participants have to solve a set of problems with different weightages/marks depending on the complexity of the problem. The participants can solve problems in any order with the ultimate aim of scoring the maximum marks.

Registration ends on 14th December, 2017
Online Challenge: 16 December 2017 (1200 hrs) to 17 December 2017 (1200 hrs)
PRIZES
Cash Prize will be awarded to top five scorers. The details are as follows:
First Prize Rs 25000/-
Second Prize Rs 20000/-
Third Prize Rs 15000/-
Fourth Prize Rs 10000/-
Fifth Prize Rs 5000/-
Next top 50 scorers will be given DRDO tokens.
All awardees will also be given certificates in recognition of their achievement.
