Electropreneur Park (EP), Bhubaneswar is a first of its kind of Incubation Centre in the Electronic Systems Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) sector in Eastern India and second of its kind after New Delhi. EP, Bhubaneswar is jointly funded by the STPI, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India & Electronics & IT Department, Government of Odisha.

Other stakeholders in the project are IIIT Bhubaneswar as the Knowledge & Academic Partner and India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) as the Implementation Partner for industry connect, mentoring support and outreach. Global semiconductor design & manufacturing company M/s. Texas Instruments (TI) has announced their partnership linkage with the EP, Bhubaneswar in terms of Business & Technological Mentorship to the Entrepreneurs and Innovators/Startups of EP-Bhubaneswar for knowledge sharing, mentoring and network support activities in conjunction with STPI.

EP Bhubaneswar is mandated to promote innovation in ESDM, creation of Intellectual Property and provide an enabling platform to the incubatees.

EP Bhubaneswar is equipped with an advanced Lab, plug & play facilities and would also provide mentor connect, access to technology & domain experts, strategic guidance Business mentorship, access to established FABLAB, Technical training, Funding assistance, Networking opportunities with potential investors & customers, market intelligence, guidance for patenting to convert ideas into successful products etc.

Around 40-50 startups to be graduated over a period of five years in EP-Bhubaneswar which will focus on verticals like Energy, Process Control & Industrial Automation, and Education. However, innovative ideas in ESDM pertaining to Agriculture, Disaster Management, Healthcare & SMART city applications shall also be supported.

The EP, Bhubaneswar will primarily aspiring for:

o Creating of a holistic eco-system for innovation & entrepreneurship
o Enabling creation of Intellectual Property
o Assisting prototype and product development and commercialization of products
o Creating employment for skilled people
o Integration of academia, industry, Govt. and other elements of the eco-system
o Knowledge and resource sharing with EP New Delhi for mutual benefits

Soft Launch of EP, Bhubaneswar has been done on 23.12.2019 and the process of inviting online application from the Startups/Ideates/innovators to be incubated in EP has commenced simultaneously.

Currently EP-Bhubaneswar is inviting proposals from ESDM startups under its Pre Incubation, Incubation and Virtual Acceleration programs.
