Citizens of Raipur and Naya Raipur are hereby invited to participate in Essay writing competition for Smart City Naya Raipur. The objective of the essay competition is to understand the aspirations of the citizens and future residents as to how they foresee the development of their city. The essay should focus on (not limited to):
• The main USP (Unique Selling Proposition) of Naya Raipur city and its reason
• Major issues and challenges present in the city
o Solutions that can be adopted to address these issues
o Highlight top priority areas/ sectors that need immediate attention
o Areas to be developed in the City and reason for selecting
• The vision and goals for the Smart City
• Your expectations from the Naya Raipur Smart City and role of Government and People in achieving the same
• Your idea of ideal Smart City and facilities that should be provided to all the citizens
Maximum word limit for Essay writing: 1000 words

Terms and Conditions
• The Contest is open to individuals, teams and organizations restricted to Indian nationals
• All entries must be uploaded to creative corner link of www.mygov.in or the hard copy will be sent/mailed to CEO office NRDA. The contact details are mentioned below.
• Participant is required to ensure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since NRDA would be using this for further communication.
Technical Parameters
• The accepted format is JPEG/ JPG/ PNG/ SVG only.
• Languages - The submission will be accepted in English or Hindi language.
Evaluation Criteria
• NRDA would be responsible for evaluation and assessment.
• The decision of the NRDA would be final.
• If any legal proceedings arise, this shall be subject to local jurisdiction of Naya Raipur City.
Prizes
• First prize - Rs. 1o,000/-
• Second prize - Rs. 5,000/-
• Third prize - Rs. 2,000/-
Winners will be announced and prizes shall be awarded on 23rd February, 2017
