I like shimaoga should be ideal smart green city.In order do it.We should have change our life style with new technologies.Our travelling also should depend on public vehicle like buses,train.But only if we get required bus at required time.In order to do it buses(at least local buses) should connect to GPS,so we get the information about required bus with time in our smartphone.Also in order to help others non-smartphone users they should get buses information at bus stop in digital board.

we should generate power using solar efficienty on all govt buildings,bus stands.plan to build park along bank of Tunga,add LASER light show.first stop corruption,all middle man work.Try to utilise space of coservency for water treatement plant,such that every area is self sustaning in water management or we may use them for gardening or parking space.we can have bicycle lane running along free space near rail tracks. parking in underground of main roads.

Smart city is one which uses digital technology,information and communication technology to enhance the urban life.shivamogga can be developed by setting up SEZ for large scale industry.which will also help in economic development of the city. It is important for the city because it can contribute for the economic development of the county and for efficient utilization of human resource.And it will attract new investment for the city.Infrastructure development of the city is to be done.

As every one know that shivamogga is come under Malnad region. So, 1st we have to concentrate on polution and drainage systems. If drainage systems are good means slam areas will not be there and outside people means foreign country people will come and they will start industries and companies in the city.Then gradualy Students of shimoga city will get good education and also good job opportunities. In this way will reduce poverty level , illetracy and unemployment problem.

By making my suggestion we will have below benefits.

1. Making Gandhibazar traffic free, more footfalls will be seen and improves the business.
2. Tram ways will help in 2 ways it will be green and it will give more comfort as the travel will be traffic free.
3. As of now auto is the only mode of transport to connect bus stand and railways as they are saturated we need bus connectivity between these transport hubs as they are bringing revenue.
4. Help desk will bring more tourist friendly

Issues
1. Congested Roads of Gandibazar and surroundings.
2. No faster connectivity between to ends of cities.
3. No connectivity between Railway Station and Bus Station.
4. Lack of information to tourists.
5. Religious hormone is not stable.
Suggestions
1. Make the Gandhibazar main road as walk way.
2. Introduce Tram Way crisscrossing city.
3. Separate bus connectivity between transport hubs.
4. Mobile app & Help desk at transport centers
5. Connect them.
