This task gives you the opportunity to work on the ground and provide feedback on crucial issues related to Ganga cleaning.
Buxar is a historical place at the bank of Ganga. It has great potential to tourism development but it lags due to many reasons like. 1. Ghats are stair type but old and muddy 2. The raod joining ghats to city are in worse condition and narrow with full of cow dungs.3. The local railway station need to be of tourists standard means tourist facility is required (lodging and flooding).5. The sites like Ahiroli and Battle ground with museum are needed to be exploited with development. 6. Highway
As a tourist visited the sacred river but astonished to see the river some major steps need to be taken :-
1 imposing strict law against putting the dead bodies in river
2 no other daily activities such as bathing; washing allowed
3 no throwing waste n garbage in water
4 fine against worship of flowers n milk in water
These would hurt peoples feeling to n extent but would be helpful in cleaning ganga to n extent
DOING SOMETHING ON A PARTICULAR PLACE IS NOT A SOLUTION.THE PLAN SHOULD BE FOR WHOLE INDIA THE RIVER GANGA CAN BE CLEANED BY:-
1)COMPULSARY SET UP OF SEWAGE WATER TREATMENT PLANTS AS MANY AS POSSIBLE.
2)RESTRICTION OF DIRECT DISPOSAL OF WASTE INTO GANGA.
3)CREATE AWARENESS IN WHOLE INDIA .NOT TO USE DETERGENTS AND SOUPS WHILE BATHING ON THE BANK,INORDER TO PRESERVE OUR PRECIOUS DHOLPHINS
4)PROPER WASTE TREATMENT SYSTEM SHOULD BE SET UP IN THE PILGRIME CENTERS TO KEEP GANGA CLEAN !!
JAWLAPUR HARIDWAR KE SARE DRAIN KO CANAL ME NA CHORE
Allahabad. 1. There's no secure tourism along the river, manual boating is fine but engined boats use diesel which pollutes the river. Water sports are not organised in the river like rafting, board surfing, etc. 2. A huge amount of waste is discarded into the river during festive occasions. 3. There are no measures (except instructions to visitors) to conserve river & control pollution in river. 3. Safety measures at bathing ghats are also less, not sufficient life saving guards & boats.
City Selected - Allahabad. 1. Ghats of the River Ganga are very crowded round the year & create pollution by bathing in it using soaps, washing clothes, throwing dirt & waste. 2. Industrial effluents, drains(containing both domestic waste & industrial waste) are directly dumped in the river. 2. A lot of construction is increasing near the banks of Ganga which would later might be destructed as the flow of Ganga widens or fluctuates. 3. Non-decomposable things must not be flown into the river.
there is a very big crowd in haridwar many people bathting in main stream There should be separate ghats for bathing and washing clothes should not be done on ghats
