People are aware of the problems but there is a need to prioritize the challenges in order to tackle them effectively. This task gives the freedom to identify the challenges and list them out in proper order.
1.religious beliefs, rituals(dumping dead bodies in water, ash etc) 2. People dumping waste 3.chemicals from industries nearby 4.no strict laws 4.no proper excecution of it 5.huge river.. Making it difficult to clean 6.Lack of awareness in people about the situation 7. No action has been taken against this by anyone 8.industrialists may not agree to dump their wastes anywhere else 9. No seriousness in people about this matter 10.no action plan yet.. On how to clean Ganga
1.We have to chalk out a plan by dividing entire stretch of Gangaji into phases starting from its origin till it reaches sea.
2.Create groups (volunteers + experts) for each stretch.
3.Chalk out tasks to prevent pollution and its implementation. This should be such that public use of river as washing clothes, animals, vehicles/ as toilets/ as holy dip, puja rituals should be done in a stretch where water is pulled from river in nearby area like a lake which can be filled in and drained out. +
1. Untreated industrial pollutants flowing into the river basin
2. New polluting factories being commissioned in the river basin
3. Untreated domestic sewage flowing into the river
4. Burning and discharge of bodies into the river
5. Worship based pollution- idols, burnt incense
6. River defecation
7. Standing water stored in reservoirs/dams gets polluted
8. Excessive fishing which harms ecology
9. No effective solid filtering system
10. Decrease of water level
We need to create awareness among everyone that Ganga is not a dumping grouund or a landfill where anyone will come and throw the garbage there. This river is like every Indian's mother which is dying per day just because of our faults and mindsets.Aur vaise bhi sarkar bhi kahan tak kis-kis ke piche bhagegi.Ye akhir mein humari hi jimmedari banti hai ki hum log apni maa ko khatam hone se bachayein aur is nadi ko swatch aur pollution free rakhein. We should take this pledge and will see a change .
2/2
4) Industrial waste must be collected in the industry & should be decompose in solid form or it may be utilized by any other industry as raw material.
5) Dahsansakar jaise process or worship or Ganga snan should be performed in linked canals in place of main stream.
6) No body individually allow to enter in main stream.
7) Plantation should be start on mass level by local residents / with MANREGA scheam, in the bank of river to give the strength to river bank.
1/2 Cleaning of maa ganga, it is very important to know expectation of countrymen with this river. Considering the fact of requirement, the best way are following:
1) no residential project is permissible with one kilometer belt.
2) No residential sewage permissible in the river. For the sewage system we have to first clean them & then send that water through canal for agriculture work to maintain continuity of supply of water.
3) No industrial waste allow to drop in river in any situation.
1) The cities situated along the river ganga are the main source of the pollution in India. Waste water treatment is very important to develop in these cities so that the waste water is treated before going into the river.
2) People are also making this river polluted by putting there trash into river
3) Several times dead bodies are seen floating in the river which makes the state of the river pathetic.
4) we have to make proper awareness and above that proper fine should be imposed if breac
agar ye ruk gya to ganga apne aap saaf ho jayengi isliye Stop this
1)The authority must have a clear data on people entering temple2)very necessary to know the items bought by devotees3)dustbins must be kept in few and many places 4)cctv cameras must be ensured5)ppt partnsership must be ensured 6)school and college students must be taken to clean gana (because when elderly people see small kids doing work even they join it)6)police protection7)ban over dumping of industrial waste from all other stats from where ganga flow.
The major challenges to change the face of Ganga are as below:
1. Sewage
2. Industrial Effluent
3. The material put into Ganga as the part of Puja
4. Garbage generated due to the left over on the bank of Ganga
5. Dead bodies
6. Crowd on occasions
7. Bath taken in a congested manner.
8. Cremation on the bank
9. Cremation residues discharged to Ganga
10. Uncontrolled religious rituals at the bank
