This year marks the 125th Birth Anniversary year of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. The contribution of Dr. Ambedkar in social, political and economic sectors is enormous and he is one of the key founders of Modern India. The life of Dr. Ambedkar is an inspiration to millions. He is known as the architect of Constitution of India. The hard work done by him in the drafting of the Constitution made it a powerful tool for social and economic empowerment of the downtrodden, which is praiseworthy. Dr. Ambedkar ensured that there are appropriate checks and balances in the democratic system of Government and ensured that the three wings of the Executive, Legislature and Judiciary, function independently with accountability to one another.
Dr. Ambedkar Foundation (DAF), an autonomous body under the administrative control of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment seeks inputs to design a Logo for 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-.
Last date of submission is 15th January, 2015.

I have submitted a logo for competition of 125th birth anniversary of Dr B.R.Ambedkar. I think he is the light of modern India.
The logo is designed with the great respect and honor towards Dr. Ambedkar as this logo has the reflection of Dr. Ambedkar.
This logo has reflection of Indian flag which symbolize our Nation.
Tri color scheme gives the feeling of unity and strength.
This logo has the recall value & can be easily converted into 2 colours when needed, without hampering the beauty of the logo as it is in flat vector form easy to print and easy to use on any medium be it digital social media or print media.

My logo design shows indian tricolour as the colour theme and highlights the 125 th anniversary of Ambedkar on the foreground. I am presenting 3 different options for the logo with different treatment of elements and layout of the design.
