This year marks the 125th Birth Anniversary year of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. The contribution of Dr. Ambedkar in social, political and economic sectors is enormous and he is one of the key founders of Modern India. The life of Dr. Ambedkar is an inspiration to millions. He is known as the architect of Constitution of India. The hard work done by him in the drafting of the Constitution made it a powerful tool for social and economic empowerment of the downtrodden, which is praiseworthy. Dr. Ambedkar ensured that there are appropriate checks and balances in the democratic system of Government and ensured that the three wings of the Executive, Legislature and Judiciary, function independently with accountability to one another.
Dr. Ambedkar Foundation (DAF), an autonomous body under the administrative control of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment seeks inputs to design a Logo for 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-.
Last date of submission is 15th January, 2015.

This logo constitutes following elements:
a.) 125th birth anniversary is represented in the logo with Indian flag colours
b.) Since Ambedkarji has played a vital role in drafting of the Constitution the pen and paper is a remembrance towards his efforts.
c.) The flying colours of Indian flag coming out is the representation of India celebrating the 125th anniversary of Ambedkarji.

Dr. Bheemrao Ambedkar is the architect of Indian constitution and his contribution to nation was enormus. As per competition announced,I tried to keep logo simple and minimal. Logo contains Ambedkar's emblem in figure 5 and ext birth anniversary wrapped around it. The design reflects 125 years of a legends birth.
There are two alternative for the logo , first one contains golden color with dark gray base and the another one is containing tri colors Deep saffron and green.
My logo shows a photo of Babasaheb Bheemrao Ambedkar surrounded with the name of foundation. Further, it is inclosed with saffron, green and the blue(the color of wheel) of our flag. It follows all the 5 Principles of Logo Design-
1. Simple
2. Memorable
3. Timeless
4. Versatile
5. Appropriate
Software used- Adobe photoshop cs6, Adobe Illustrator cs6.

Here is My conceptual draft for the logo contest for 125th Birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, in Logo 125th is depicted through fire torch , and tri colour of our flag. Lighting tourch depicts the awareness and upliftment of country through knowledge and out circle contains 24 pattern as never stopping wheel. finished or gradient version will be available if the concept is approved or accepted.

Dr B . R. Ambedkar is the architect of constitution of India & constitution is the power tool for social, Economic & Empoerment. He had contributed in three sector which indicated in triangle form and symbolic form of people of India (Triangle Depict social, Political & Economic sector) Line drawing is used for mentor & colours are used related to Indian flag and constitution of India. Logo having personality highlight with Birth Anniversary.
